Mysuru: Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) chairman Ayub Khan on Thursday said the Dasara exhibition, which began on Oct 3, registered a footfall of 15 lakh visits so far. The 90-day exhibition will conclude on Dec 31.

Khan told reporters that visitors are happy with the arrangements and have also given suggestions. Since the inauguration of the exhibition, KEA conducted a slew of cultural events, including special celebrations like free entry for children on Children’s Day.

Khan said KEA worked out a plan to conduct exhibitions throughout the year, in addition to holding entertainment and amusement events year-round to attract visitors. KEA, in association with Tibbas Group, decided to conduct the Future Model of India fashion show competition for two days before the closure of the Dasara exhibition on Dec 28 at Kalingarao Auditorium. Posters related to the event were also released on the occasion.

Competitions will be organised in different categories for people aged between two and 65. The grand finale will be held on the same evening. The participants must compulsorily wear Indian traditional attire, he said.

KEA executive officer K Rudresh, Tibbas Group founder DC Nagesh, and Shivani were present.
