NESCO Investment 325 Crore

Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) is India’s largest private sector exhibition and convention centre in Mumbai. It is solely owned and operated by NESCO Limited since 1992 that hosted various National and International exhibitions with the market share of 20%. Covid19 has slowed down business across the industries around the globe. It is also noted that slowly things will start and move in the positive direction.

Exhibition Industry experienced cancellation of all the tradeshows and exhibition during Covid period but it is expected to grow manifold gradually. UAE has successfully conducted exhibitions and categorically starting few more during this quarter. Exhibitors and Organizers are very hopeful about the event industry.

In the light of this, NESCO has planned to invest Rs. 325 crore for building new exhibition halls by replacing the existing expo halls and convention centres. The process of approval for the new layout is already in place and it is prepared by renowned Australian architect group. The work is expected to commence in 2021.

Exhibition Industry is expected to grow at much faster pace and there will be huge demand for the space from both Indian and International organizers. NESCO is also working on optimizing the space to have spacious exhibition halls for any type and size of event at this venue in Mumbai. Industry is very hopeful about the turnaround in this Q4.
