The 68th All India Congress of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (AICOG 2026) commenced on 14 January 2026 at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre), Dwarka, New Delhi, reaffirming its stature as India’s most prestigious and largest annual OB-GYN congress. The five-day event, running until 18 January 2026, brought together thousands of gynaecologists, obstetricians, medical educators, researchers, policymakers and global healthcare leaders.
Held under the theme “Advancing Women’s Health through Evidence, Innovation & Compassion,” AICOG 2026 delivered a robust and multidisciplinary scientific programme across multiple halls. The congress featured high-impact keynote addresses, plenary sessions and expert panels focusing on maternal health, foetal medicine, minimally invasive surgery and emerging clinical practices.
Parallel scientific tracks covered a wide spectrum of specialities, including gynaecology, obstetrics, fertility, gynaecologic oncology, urogynecology and reproductive medicine. The academic framework was strengthened through CME-accredited sessions, specialty certificate courses, case-based discussions and resident-focused presentations, making the congress highly relevant for both senior clinicians and young practitioners.
A major highlight of AICOG 2026 was its hands-on workshops and advanced skills labs, which began with pre-conference sessions on 14 January. These practical training modules included laparoscopic suturing workshops, foetal ultrasound masterclasses, labour ward emergency simulations and advanced endoscopy training, attracting strong participation from practising doctors and postgraduate students.
The AICOG 2026 Exhibition, held from 15–18 January 2026, emerged as India’s largest women’s healthcare marketplace. The exhibition hosted 500+ exhibitors representing medical devices, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, imaging solutions, fertility technologies, maternal and neonatal care, and digital health innovations. Live product demonstrations, industry interactions and business networking marked strong engagement on the exhibition floor.
Hosted at Yashobhoomi, India’s largest convention and exhibition complex with world-class infrastructure and excellent airport connectivity, AICOG 2026 once again set new benchmarks in scale, scientific excellence and industry participation, reinforcing collaboration and shaping the future of women’s healthcare in India and globally.
