Fuar Izmir

İzmir, a port city where deep commercial relations existed throughout its history, has also hosted the first expos in the history of Türkiye. Held during the İzmir Economics Congress, "Numune Meşheri", meaning "Sample Exhibition", was later renamed "9 Eylül Meşheri" (September 9th exhibition) and these exhibitions were accepted as the 1st İzmir International Fair. "Kültürpark" had hosted İzmir International Fair, first international expo in Türkiye; and in order to respond to the increasing exhibition potential, to create a platform worthy of world expos and to maximize sectoral interaction, fuar izmir was established on March 25, 2015.
