Hoa assumed her new role on Monday, replacing Nguyen Thi Quy Phuong, who had held the position since September 2024.

Born in 1974, Hoa joined Vincom Retail in 2014 as project management director for Vincom Mega Mall Times City and Royal City, and later served as deputy CEO from 2014 to 2016.

In 2017, she became a member of the board of directors, and in March 2024, she was appointed CEO cum vice chairwoman. She assumed the role of chairwoman in April 2024.

VEFAC, with Vingroup holding over 85% of its charter capital, is developer of the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) project in Dong Anh – a massive development that completed construction after only 10 months.

The complex spans over 900,000 square meters, with a total investment of VND7 trillion ($275 million). Designed with 304,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space, the VEC is poised to rank among the world’s top 10 largest exhibition complexes and the largest in Southeast Asia.

The center includes seven major components, notably the Kim Quy (Turtle) Exhibition Hall – the world’s largest circular exhibition structure, covering 104,863 square meters with a dome roof supported by 24,000 tons of steel.

Additionally, there are four outdoor exhibition parks spanning over 200,000 square meters, placing it in the global top three for open-air exhibition space. These facilities are designed for large-scale festivals, events, and exhibitions.

A national exhibition on Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements celebrating the country’s 80th National Day (September 2) is scheduled to take place at the VEC from August 28 to September 5, with the Kim Quy Exhibition Hall serving as the main venue.
