FDCI & India Art Fair Present Textile Heritage Exhibit in Delhi

New Delhi, ahead of National Handloom Day 2025 – The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), in collaboration with the India Art Fair’s Young Collectors Programme, has unveiled a captivating textile exhibition at the National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy. Located within the Innovation Gallery and Textile Gallery II, this showcase foregrounds Indigenous fashion and regional textile craftsmanship, emphasizing sustainable design and cultural storytelling.

The exhibit brings together a diverse collective of artisans and designers—from handloom specialists to contemporary textile creators—each illustrating the deep-rooted legacy and artistic variety of India’s handloom traditions. This initiative aligns with broader efforts to preserve cultural heritage and uplift traditional craft communities.
