According to toasttab.com, the food truck business represents a market of $ 1.8 billion in the US in 2024, and is expected to grow in the coming years. A 20 -year -old company in the tradeshow industry, Convex, developed and produced food truck Owners Expo (FTO) in 2024 with the first two shows in Houston and Orlando, and one in Las Vegas earlier this year. The next show Edison will be held in New Jersey on 2-3 December and Austin, Texas next year. Currently someone owns a food truck or is considering entering the industry.
The food truck owner expo is dedicated to all aspects of the business of mobile food vendors. There are seminars to train owners to run successful businesses, as well as in-tradition meetings between suppliers and food truck owners to improve their business operations. Expo has industry experts who provide valuable knowledge to owners to help them grow their businesses. There is an opportunity to connect suppliers and manufacturers to food truck owners. Industry networking events and opportunities are important to strengthen the connection and promote support.

“The owners of the food truck are all incredible cooks; they make some amazing food, but many need to understand the business of business,” Kay said. “We are trying to introduce them to the right people, teach them things that they need to stay in business, grow and take it to the next level.
With seminars, training sessions and networking opportunities, exhibition floor vendors offered products and services including trailers, refrigerators, equipment, POS systems, insurance coverage, menu boards and branded clothing.
“We offer networking because last year, people participating in our first two food trucks exposes were interested in meeting other people who prepared the same dishes, such as Barbecue. We facilitate different methods to join the same food truck owners in different ways. Other food truck owners and potential owners are available to other food trucks and potentially owners to connect with other food truck owners in different ways. 40 different states.
