The Motion: Arts and Football Exhibition at Dortmund’s German Football Museum celebrated the ‘The Beautiful Game’ through the works of the 20th century artists around the world.
Twenty -three UHD appson projector brings dynamic surfaces to life, increased by film, photography and sound. Visitors detect three separate zones, with highlights such as 5.1 meters by a 22 -meter painter palette floor projection and an estimated sketchbook of 4.2 m.
The Sigma System Audio-Visual was assigned with AV design and installation. The head of AV Integration, Christian Backs said: “We have worked with the German Football Museum for more than 10 years. We have provided original AV and media systems.
“This is a long -term exhibition, but the important thing is because it is designed when they choose a new theme, only the material changing the material needs to be replaced.”
Berlin -based Lem Studio and PBX Studio were responsible for sound design and audio content production.
Lam Studio’s Marcus Hosack served as the lead sound designer, mixing the audio in both the studio and onsite. Starting from a stereo soundtrack, he worked to customize it in a rich, immersive soundscape. “The idea was to move the whole place,” he commented.
A powerful in-sealing system offers full-grade audio at the entire venue, but for immersive playback, the sound had to be more intimate. “For immersive details, visitors need to ‘close and personal’,” Hosac said.
“We wanted to make a ‘moving cinema’,” Hosac commented. “We wanted to include sound in different fields of audio, giving each visitor a unique hearing experience.
