Jaeger-LeCoultre Unveils The Dream Shaper Exhibition in Shanghai

From 10 September to 26 September 2025, Jaeger-LeCoultre is hosting The Dream Shaper exhibition in Shanghai at Zhangyuan W7, Lane 258, Maoming North Road. Admission is complimentary, with doors open daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

The exhibition is structured around four thematic chapters: The Age of Tradition (Ornamented Watches), The Age of Freedom (Miniaturised Watches), The Age of Emancipation (Shaped Watches), and The Age of Leadership (Complication Watches).

In addition to browsing exquisite heritage timepieces, visitors will enjoy live demonstrations of key stages in watchmaking — from gem-setting to movement assembly — as well as a Discovery Workshop led by the Atelier d’Antoine.

The exhibition includes newly launched limited-edition timepieces, part of the Rendez-Vous collection, presented alongside a commissioned artwork from the Made of Makers™ program. There is also a special presentation of iconic mid-20th century models in a “Collectibles” room.

A projection room will show short films, such as the In the Making series, offering behind-the-scenes views of the manufacture and craftsmanship. This aims to deepen visitor appreciation of the artistry and technical precision involved.

The exhibition places strong emphasis on the evolution of feminine watchmaking — exploring how women have shaped both the design and function of watches over time, from decorative pieces to high complication works.

With free access and curated content, The Dream Shaper is positioned to attract both watch aficionados and a broader public interested in design, tradition, and heritage. The hands-on components provide an added dimension of engagement.

Exhibition Globe’s audience—brand curators, design-oriented organisers, cultural storytellers—will find this exhibition to be a strong example of brand-led display, where craftsmanship, narrative, and visitor interaction are harmoniously combined.
