Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2026 is underway, reaffirming its status as one of the world’s most influential platforms for sustainability, climate action, and clean energy collaboration. Taking place from January 11 to 15, 2026, across key venues including the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), the event brings together global leaders, policymakers, investors, innovators, and industry experts in the United Arab Emirates.
Organised by Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s flagship clean energy company, ADSW continues to play a pivotal role in accelerating the global transition toward a sustainable and resilient future. The event underscores the UAE’s long-term commitment to climate leadership, renewable energy development, and sustainable economic growth.
The week began with two high-level closed-door forums: the IRENA Assembly (January 11–12) and the Global Climate Finance Annual Meeting (January 12). These strategic gatherings set the tone for international cooperation, policy alignment, and investment mobilisation in renewable energy and climate solutions.
The official Opening Ceremony, scheduled for January 13 at ADNEC, will feature a keynote address by H.E. Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology. The ceremony will also host the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards, recognising groundbreaking sustainability innovations and impactful projects from around the world.
From January 13 onwards, the ADSW public programme and flagship ADSW Summit will convene heads of state, ministers, CEOs, and sustainability leaders to discuss climate finance, technological innovation, energy transition, and scalable global solutions. Running alongside the summit, the World Future Energy Summit showcases more than 800 international brands, alongside the Greenhouse start-up zone, the FUSE AI cleantech pavilion, and the debut of the Greenpeace Cinema, highlighting environmental storytelling and next-generation clean technologies.
With a strong focus on policy, innovation, and investment, ADSW 2026 is already shaping critical global conversations, further strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading sustainability hub and a major destination for the global MICE industry.
