The Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate has announced an exciting programme of brand-new and returning events for 2026, reinforcing its position as one of the UK’s most versatile and dynamic event destinations. Set across the 250-acre showground, the newly revealed calendar promises something for everyone, from farming and country sports to books, motorsport and live entertainment.

Four Brand-New Events Announced for 2026

Among the highlights are four new events confirmed for the Great Yorkshire Events Centre and the Pavilions of Harrogate. These additions further strengthen the Showground’s reputation for hosting diverse, high-quality exhibitions and live experiences throughout the year.

Book lovers can look forward to the Pascify Book Con, a dedicated book festival showcasing hundreds of authors across paranormal, science fiction and fantasy genres. Country sports enthusiasts will be drawn to The Northern Country Sports Show, while fans of classic motors and TV’s Bangers & Cash can meet familiar faces at Mathewsons Live 2026, a unique celebration of motorsports, music, food and community.

Yorkshire Farming Conference Kicks Off the Year

The first new event of the year is the Yorkshire Farming Conference, organised by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society. Taking place on Wednesday 28 January 2026 at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre, the conference will bring together the farming community for a day of insight, innovation and networking.

With more than 30 expert speakers and 60+ businesses and organisations exhibiting, the event offers a packed trade show designed to inspire and connect those working across agriculture and rural industries. Allister Nixon, CEO of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, said the coming year will be one of the busiest yet for the Showground. Pascify Book Con Brings Authors and Readers Together

Scheduled for Saturday 11 April 2026, Pascify Con will transform the Great Yorkshire Events Centre into a hub for genre fiction fans. The event will feature hundreds of authors, a full programme of talks, panels, readings and Q&A sessions, and exclusive signed books and merchandise available to purchase.

Northern Country Sports Show Returns to Harrogate

The Northern Country Sports Show will take place on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June 2026 at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre. Organised by AW Events, the show celebrates shooting, hunting and fishing, bringing together exhibitors, demonstrations and enthusiasts from across the region.
