Electronica India & Productronica India 2026 to Highlight India’s Electronics Manufacturing Growth

India’s electronics manufacturing sector is gaining significant momentum, supported by strong government policies, expanding industrial clusters, and the global shift toward diversified supply chains. This rapid progress will take center stage at Electronica India 2026 and Productronica India 2026, scheduled from April 8 to 10 at India Expo Mart.

Organised by Messe Muenchen India, the event represents North India’s edition of South Asia’s leading B2B electronics trade fairs. It continues to play a central role in supporting India’s manufacturing expansion and fostering global industry connections.

Global Participation Reflects India’s Rising Importance

The 2026 edition is expected to attract participants from more than 50 countries, including Germany, China, United States, Japan, and Taiwan, showcasing India’s growing integration into global electronics supply chains.

Across its Greater Noida and Bengaluru editions, the combined platform connects over 60,000 industry professionals and more than 1,000 exhibitors-representing a remarkable 50% expansion in scale. Hosted with support from the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the event highlights the increasing prominence of the Noida–Greater Noida corridor as a major electronics manufacturing hub.

Policy Push Driving Industry Expansion

India’s electronics growth is being powered by key initiatives such as the Production Linked Incentive Scheme and the proposed Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme. These policies are enabling domestic production capabilities, reducing import dependency, and strengthening supply chain resilience.

Adding to its visibility, renowned cricketer Rohit Sharma has been announced as the brand ambassador for the 2026 edition, helping amplify outreach and engagement.

Launch of BPCA to Boost PCB Manufacturing

A major highlight this year is the launch of BPCA (Bharat Platform for Circuits and Assemblies), a strategic collaboration between the Electronic Industries Association of India and Messe Muenchen India. The initiative aims to address critical gaps in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing and accelerate localisation in India’s electronics ecosystem.

Key Conferences and Industry Programs

The event will host a series of high-impact conferences and knowledge-sharing platforms, including:

  • UP Electronics Leadership Summit
  • ELCINA Supply Chain Summit
  • Automotive Display Conference by India Cellular and Electronics Association
  • Bharat PCB Tech Conference
  • SMT Thought Leadership Summit
  • Startup Pavilion and industry podcasts

These programs are aligned with industry priorities such as localisation, innovation, and supply chain resilience.

Industry Leaders Share Optimism

Bhupinder Singh, President IMEA and CEO of Messe Muenchen India, stated that the event is scaling alongside the industry, with companies increasingly using the platform for strategic sourcing and decision-making.

Reinhard Pfeiffer highlighted India’s growing importance as a global manufacturing destination and strategic partner in the electronics sector.

Alok Kumar reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to strengthening Uttar Pradesh as a leading electronics manufacturing hub.

Meanwhile, Rajoo Goel emphasized the need to build a strong domestic component ecosystem, while Pankaj Mohindroo noted that India’s next growth phase will require deeper local integration across the value chain.

A Key Platform for India’s Manufacturing Future

Positioned at the intersection of policy intent and industry execution, Electronica India and Productronica India 2026 is set to play a crucial role in shaping the future of India’s electronics manufacturing sector. With growing international participation, strategic collaborations, and strong policy backing, the event underscores India’s emergence as a global electronics manufacturing powerhouse.
