Abu Dhabi is going to host the first global food exhibition in the Emirates in December this year. Several food experts and leading companies in food will gather in Abu Dhabi to participate in this event.
On Tuesday, Abu Dhabi Media Office announced that the first edition of the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition (ADIFE) is going to be held in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and is scheduled to start on December 6, 2022. The event will run till December 8, 2022.
Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) has organized the event with the cooperation of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) under the financial support of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan who is Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Court’s Minister, and Chairman of the Board of ADAFSA.
Several local and international food experts, wide-scale major companies related to the food, beverage, and hospitality sector, specialists, and decision-makers in this industry will participate in the exhibition.
Director-General of ADAFSA, Saeed Al Bahri Al Ameri said that the launch of the first edition of the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition represents the growing importance of this industry locally and internationally. The exhibition will provide a real opportunity for global companies to showcase new technologies related to food manufacturing and production and will help in exploring investment opportunities that will further strengthen food security and ensure a better future for coming generations. The exhibition will serve as a platform that will help in connecting the buyers in a supportive and encouraging business environment that will help in partnerships and sales.
Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC, Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri informed that the event will serve as a global platform for displaying new technologies and latest innovations, exploring new partnerships and investment opportunities in the industry.
The Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition is expected to observe the signing of many contracts, deals, and partnerships between various government agencies and private companies and will also encourage meetings between buyers and providers of various supply chains.
The exhibition will also feature a vast range of activities that will bring light on essential topics related to food as well as many hospitality and food services.
