Evolution Dome Creates Community Hub for Infosecurity Europe 2026

Evolution Dome Delivers New Community@Infosec Feature

Temporary inflatable structure specialist Evolution Dome played a central role in RX Global’s new Community@Infosec feature at Infosecurity Europe 2026, creating a distinctive space for networking, interviews, panel discussions and social activity at Excel London.

Held from 2–4 June 2026, Infosecurity Europe introduced Community@Infosec in partnership with the Cyber House Party team. Designed as a central meeting point within the exhibition, the new feature brought the informal networking atmosphere of an off-site community event directly onto the main show floor.

The project combined Evolution Dome’s 15m Inflatable Cube with the first deployment of its new Nexus Pod, creating a flexible temporary event environment that differed from conventional shell scheme and modular exhibition structures.

15m Inflatable Cube Becomes Exhibition Centrepiece

RX Global selected Evolution Dome’s 15m Inflatable Cube as the main structure for Community@Infosec. The large inflatable structure provided a highly visible focal point within the exhibition while giving the new feature its own distinctive identity.

The space was designed to encourage visitors to pause, reconnect with colleagues and engage with the wider cybersecurity community. Throughout the event, the hub supported real-time interviews, panel debates and evening social activities.

The use of an inflatable structure allowed RX Global to create an enclosed and visually prominent environment without relying on a complex rigid build. This flexibility was particularly valuable for an exhibition feature intended to support multiple activities throughout the three-day event.

Nexus Pod Makes Its Debut at Infosecurity Europe

Alongside the 15m Inflatable Cube, Evolution Dome deployed its new Nexus Pod for the first time. The compact, fully enclosed structure was used as an on-site broadcast and meeting studio for the Infosecurity Magazine editorial team.

The Nexus Pod provided journalists and editors with a dedicated branded workspace directly on the exhibition floor. This allowed the team to conduct meetings and interviews in a more accessible environment rather than operating from an organiser office away from the main event activity.

According to RX Global senior operations manager Emma Thompson, the team first encountered the Nexus Pod at Confex and subsequently selected it for the Infosecurity Magazine stand at Infosecurity Europe.

Thompson said that having a dedicated workspace on the show floor made the editorial team considerably more accessible to visitors and supported a more engaging experience for meetings and interviews.

Community@Infosec Brings Networking Onto the Show Floor

Community@Infosec was created to provide a dedicated environment where cybersecurity professionals could connect in a more informal setting. Rather than separating networking from the main exhibition, the feature placed community activity at the heart of the event.

The space enabled visitors to take a break from the traditional exhibition environment while continuing to engage with industry discussions and content.

The programme included interviews, panel debates and evening social events, helping to create a more dynamic environment throughout Infosecurity Europe 2026.

The project reflects a wider trend across exhibitions, where organisers are increasingly developing dedicated community and networking areas designed to encourage longer visitor engagement and more meaningful connections.

Flexible Event Structures Support Multiple Uses

Evolution Dome’s involvement also demonstrated how temporary inflatable structures can support several event functions within a single exhibition environment.

The 15m Inflatable Cube provided the large-scale community hub, while the Nexus Pod offered a more private setting for meetings and broadcasting. Together, the two structures allowed RX Global to create different environments for networking, content production and social interaction within the same feature area.

Ash Austin, director at Evolution Dome, said the project was driven by the need to bring the human side of the cybersecurity community visibly onto the exhibition floor without requiring complicated rigid construction.

According to Austin, event organisers are increasingly seeking temporary structures that combine rapid installation with strong visual impact and the flexibility to support different uses during an event.

Rapid Installation at Excel London

Evolution Dome’s installation team completed the build between 31 May and 1 June, ahead of Infosecurity Europe’s opening on 2 June.

The installation provided RX Global with a complete temporary venue solution within a short timeframe. The structures were subsequently supported by rapid on-site handover and post-show de-rigging.

The ability to install and remove temporary structures efficiently can be particularly valuable at major exhibition venues where build and breakdown periods are tightly scheduled.

For organisers, this approach can provide greater flexibility when introducing new show-floor features without committing to lengthy construction processes.

Creating a Different Visual Identity

One of the key objectives of Community@Infosec was to establish a visual identity that clearly separated the feature from traditional exhibition stands.

The combination of the large inflatable cube and enclosed Nexus Pod helped create a recognisable destination within the exhibition hall. The distinctive structures also contributed to the feature’s role as a central community space.

For large-scale exhibitions, creating visually identifiable destinations can help visitors navigate the show floor while encouraging them to explore areas beyond traditional exhibitor stands.

Innovation in Exhibition Design

The Community@Infosec project highlights the growing use of innovative temporary structures in exhibition and event design. As organisers look to create more engaging experiences, flexible structures can provide alternatives to conventional modular builds.

Inflatable event structures can offer rapid deployment, adaptable layouts and strong visual presence, making them suitable for networking areas, hospitality spaces, broadcast studios, meeting rooms and other event applications.

The addition of the Nexus Pod further demonstrates how compact enclosed structures can complement larger temporary installations, providing quieter spaces within busy exhibition environments.

Infosecurity Europe 2026

Infosecurity Europe 2026 brought together professionals from across the cybersecurity industry at Excel London from 2–4 June. The introduction of Community@Infosec added a dedicated networking and community-focused environment to the exhibition.

By combining Evolution Dome’s 15m Inflatable Cube and Nexus Pod, RX Global created a flexible feature capable of supporting both high-energy community activity and more focused editorial meetings and broadcasts.

The project demonstrates how exhibition organisers can use temporary structures to create distinctive experiences while maintaining the practical flexibility required for large-scale events.

Conclusion

Evolution Dome’s delivery of the Community@Infosec feature at Infosecurity Europe 2026 demonstrates the growing role of flexible temporary structures in modern exhibition design.

The 15m Inflatable Cube provided a striking centrepiece for RX Global’s new community hub, while the Nexus Pod created a dedicated broadcast and meeting environment for the Infosecurity Magazine team.

Together, the structures helped RX Global bring networking, content and community activity directly onto the exhibition floor, creating a more accessible and engaging experience for visitors at Excel London.
