INDEX PLUS 2026 Opens, Showcasing India’s Furniture Industry

Bengaluru, India | February 6, 2026 — The 2026 edition of INDEX PLUS, India’s premier international trade fair for furniture, interiors, and design, has officially opened today at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Running from February 6 to 8, 2026, the exhibition is organised by NürnbergMesse India and serves as a major commercial and networking platform for the country’s $32 billion furniture and interiors industry.

Bringing together over 300 exhibitors and more than 500 Indian and international brands, INDEX PLUS 2026 presents a comprehensive showcase of the complete furniture and design value chain. The exhibition attracts key decision-makers, including architects, interior designers, developers, contractors, retailers, and large-scale project buyers from across India and overseas.

Comprehensive Showcase Across Specialized Zones

The exhibition floor features a wide range of specialised experience zones, each curated to reflect evolving trends in design and interiors. The Design Pavilion highlights cutting-edge concepts in contemporary and sustainable design, while the Art Enclave showcases curated art-led furniture and décor collections. The Kudos Gallery focuses on innovation, craftsmanship, and award-winning products across residential and commercial furniture segments.

Visitors are also exploring advanced solutions in modular office furniture, residential interiors, lighting, materials, surfaces, and smart home automation, positioning INDEX PLUS 2026 as a one-stop sourcing destination for the interiors ecosystem.

Strong B2B Engagement and Knowledge Exchange

INDEX PLUS 2026 continues to strengthen its role as a high-impact B2B platform, enabling direct engagement between buyers and leading manufacturers, suppliers, and solution providers. The live exhibition floor is witnessing active business discussions, new product launches, and collaboration opportunities across hospitality, corporate, retail, and residential projects.

A key highlight of the opening day was the curated conference and knowledge program, featuring expert-led Design Talks and industry-focused discussions. One of the standout sessions, “Sponge Cities: Possibilities for a Thirsty City,” moderated by Sylvia Khan, explored sustainable urban planning, water-sensitive design, and the future of resilient cities. These sessions aim to equip professionals with insights into future-ready design, sustainability, and evolving workplace environments.

Multi-City Expansion Strengthens National Reach

Following its Bengaluru edition, INDEX PLUS 2026 will continue its national circuit with two major editions later this year. The exhibition will be held in New Delhi from August 7–9, 2026, at Yashobhoomi (IICC), followed by the Mumbai edition from September 18–20, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre.

By adopting a multi-city exhibition format, INDEX PLUS is expanding access to regional markets while streamlining sourcing and business development for design professionals across India. The platform continues to play a vital role in modernising the Indian furniture market, fostering innovation, and supporting the growth of India’s design and interiors ecosystem.
