The 32nd Indian Plumbing Conference (IPC) 2026 will be held from December 17 to 19, 2026, at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, bringing together industry professionals, manufacturers, consultants and technology providers from across India’s plumbing, water management and sanitation sectors.
Organised by the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA), the three-day conference and exhibition will focus on the theme “Water, Plumbing & Sanitation Operations & Maintenance (Challenges & Solutions).” According to projections on the official event website, IPC 2026 is expected to attract more than 3,000 delegates, 150 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors.
The conference will provide a platform to discuss operational challenges in water supply, plumbing systems and sanitation infrastructure, with emphasis on preventive maintenance, emerging technologies, skilled workforce development and sustainable water management practices.
IPC 2026 Exhibition to Highlight Plumbing and Water Management Technologies
The Indian Plumbing Conference 2026 exhibition will showcase products, equipment and technologies supporting the plumbing and water-management industries. Participating companies are expected to present solutions for residential, commercial and industrial infrastructure, covering multiple segments of the building-services sector.
Key exhibition categories will include pipes, fittings, valves and plumbing systems, alongside sanitaryware and bathroom fixtures designed for modern buildings. Water and wastewater management technologies, including pumps, filtration equipment, purification systems and sewage treatment solutions, will also be among the relevant industry segments.
Additional areas of focus will include rainwater harvesting, drainage systems, smart water metering, water storage and conservation technologies. Building-services solutions such as hot-water systems, fire protection equipment and building automation technologies will further support discussions around efficient building operations.
Technical sessions and panel discussions will complement the exhibition, enabling participants to exchange industry knowledge, examine practical maintenance challenges and explore solutions for improving the performance and reliability of water and sanitation infrastructure.
IPPL 2026 National Finale and Industry Awards to Feature at IPC
The 32nd Indian Plumbing Conference will also host the national grand finale of the Indian Plumbing Professionals League (IPPL) 2026, adding a professional competition component to the event programme.
The conference will feature technical discussions on plumbing, water and sanitation operations, alongside recognition initiatives celebrating contributions to the industry. Planned highlights include the IPPL national finale, Indian Plumbing Association felicitations, the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Navratna Awards.
These activities are expected to bring together professionals from different areas of the plumbing and building-services ecosystem, encouraging knowledge-sharing, professional recognition and collaboration.
IPC 2026 to Connect Architects, Consultants and Industry Leaders
The event is expected to attract architects, MEP consultants, real estate developers, contractors, manufacturers, government representatives and facility managers. For these stakeholders, the conference and exhibition will offer opportunities to explore products, discuss infrastructure requirements and establish business connections.
The focus on operations and maintenance is particularly relevant as buildings and infrastructure projects increasingly require reliable water distribution, efficient wastewater treatment and sustainable sanitation systems. Discussions at IPC 2026 are expected to examine how improved maintenance practices and technology adoption can help address these requirements.
The combination of technical sessions, product displays and networking opportunities will position the conference as a meeting point for professionals seeking practical approaches to the challenges facing India’s plumbing and water infrastructure sectors.
Indian Plumbing Association and Industry Partnerships
Established in 1993, the Indian Plumbing Association is a not-for-profit national organisation dedicated to advancing India’s plumbing and building-services industry. Through industry engagement and knowledge-sharing initiatives, the association works to promote developments in plumbing practices and related infrastructure.
For the 2026 edition, ROCA is listed as a Platinum Partner, while Kirloskar Brothers Limited is listed as a Gold Partner.
With its focus on water, plumbing and sanitation operations and maintenance, the Indian Plumbing Conference 2026 will bring industry stakeholders together in Chennai to discuss technical challenges, explore emerging solutions and strengthen professional connections across the sector.
