London, UK: Central Hall Westminster (CHW) is proudly marking International Women’s Day 2026 by hosting the CORE IWD event on Tuesday, 10 March, alongside a team charity walk on 6 March to raise awareness and funds for Women’s Trust. The initiative highlights the venue’s long-standing commitment to equality, community engagement, and social impact.
A Historic Venue Supporting Women’s Progress
Located in the heart of Westminster, Central Hall Westminster has a rich legacy of hosting influential gatherings and discussions that shape society. The venue even hosted meetings of the suffragette movement as early as 1914, reinforcing its historic connection to the fight for women’s rights.
The 2026 event, organised in partnership with COREcruitment, continues that legacy by bringing together leaders and professionals from across the hospitality, retail, leisure, and service industries.
“Give to Gain” – Empowering Women Through Collaboration
This year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” focuses on the importance of mentorship, collaboration, and shared opportunities to accelerate progress for women in leadership roles.
The event programme will feature inspiring keynote speakers, panel discussions, and networking sessions designed to celebrate achievements while addressing ongoing barriers faced by women in business.
Notable speakers include:
- Dame Karen Jones
- Kate Nicholls
- Sofia Cassne
These industry leaders will share insights on career growth, mentorship, and building inclusive workplaces.
Charity Walk to Support Women’s Trust
Ahead of the main event, the CHW team will take part in a six-mile charity walk on Friday, 6 March, to support Women’s Trust.
The charity provides free specialist counselling services for women affected by domestic abuse, helping them cope with the psychological trauma and rebuild their mental and emotional wellbeing.
The walking route will follow half the length of the Jubilee Line in London, symbolising a collective journey toward empowerment and positive change.
Driving Real Community Impact
For Central Hall Westminster, supporting women’s progress goes beyond hosting events. By combining an awareness-raising charity initiative with a high-profile industry gathering, the venue aims to encourage real action and meaningful dialogue around gender equality.
As a historic venue known for hosting some of the world’s most important conversations, CHW continues to provide a platform for discussions that inspire change and help shape a more inclusive and equal future for women in business and society.
