Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) 2026 is set to make a strong comeback in Mumbai from 5–7 February 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre, further cementing India’s position at the heart of the global travel and tourism industry. Recognised as one of Asia’s leading B2B travel trade exhibitions, the upcoming edition is expected to be among the most internationally diverse travel shows ever hosted in the country.
With over 2,200 exhibitors representing more than 60 countries, OTM 2026 will welcome 45+ National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) and 30+ destinations participating exclusively at the event. Organisers also anticipate 50,000+ trade visitors, including 1,000+ hosted and VIP buyers, underlining the scale and business significance of the show.
The expanding footprint of OTM reflects a broader industry shift. India has rapidly evolved from an emerging outbound market into a strategic priority for global destinations. Rising disposable incomes, improved air connectivity, and a growing preference for experiential, luxury and long-haul travel have reshaped outbound travel demand from India—and OTM 2026 mirrors this transformation.
Tourism boards from across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and island destinations will be present in large numbers, with many choosing exclusive participation at OTM as part of their long-term India market strategy. Established Western markets are also reinforcing their engagement, with strong representation from European tourism bodies, North America and key African destinations. Africa, in particular, continues to gain momentum among Indian travellers for wildlife, leisure and experiential tourism.
Positioned as a high-impact B2B marketplace, OTM 2026 is expected to facilitate over 50,000 pre-scheduled business meetings, enabling focused engagement between buyers and exhibitors across airlines, hotels, tourism boards, DMCs, cruise lines, attractions and travel technology providers.
Adding further depth to the exhibition, the OTM Forum will host thought leadership sessions and policy discussions featuring senior government officials, global tourism leaders and top executives from the travel, aviation, hospitality, MICE and wedding planning sectors. A key highlight will be CineLocales, a dedicated platform connecting destinations with film, television and OTT producers, showcasing innovative approaches to destination marketing.
With its unmatched scale, global participation and business-first approach, OTM 2026 is set to play a defining role in shaping travel trade partnerships, while reinforcing India’s standing as one of the world’s most influential outbound travel markets.
