Plastiworld 2026 Concludes Successfully at Jio World Convention Centre

Mumbai: Plastiworld 2026 wrapped up on a high note at the Jio World Convention Centre, emerging as a powerful platform for international trade and business collaboration in the plastics industry. The exhibition delivered strong commercial outcomes and further strengthened India’s growing reputation in the global plastics market.

The event was inaugurated by Vikas Pansare, Managing Director of MSSIDC, who attended as the Chief Guest and highlighted the importance of export-driven growth for Indian industries.

Aligned with the vision of Narendra Modi to transform India into a US$ 5 trillion economy, Plastiworld 2026 was conceptualized as a focused B2B platform aimed at enhancing the country’s export footprint. The exhibition also supported the national goal of increasing export contribution to 20% of GDP by creating direct trade opportunities between Indian manufacturers and global buyers.

Organized by the All India Plastics Manufacturers Association in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Export Organisations, the event successfully connected Indian MSME plastic product manufacturers with verified international buyers. The initiative provided a structured environment for meaningful business discussions, fostering partnerships and long-term collaborations.

Plastiworld 2026 witnessed participation from over 100 Indian exhibitors showcasing a diverse portfolio of plastic products across various categories. On the international front, the exhibition attracted more than 210 buyers from 47 countries. This included over 160 verified global buyers, along with 50+ sourcing agents and institutional procurement representatives.

Leading retail giants such as Reliance Retail and IKEA were also part of the event, further elevating its business significance and attracting strong industry attention.

A key highlight of the exhibition was its structured B2B meeting program. Over the course of three days, nearly 4,000 pre-scheduled meetings were organized, with around 2,000 meetings successfully conducted in dedicated business zones. The high volume of interactions translated into tangible outcomes, with each exhibitor generating an average of 22 to 25 business leads.

The strong participation, extensive international presence, and impressive deal-making activity underline Plastiworld 2026’s role as a catalyst for export growth in India’s plastics sector. The event not only facilitated immediate business opportunities but also laid the groundwork for sustained global partnerships.

With its successful execution and measurable impact, Plastiworld 2026 has set a new benchmark for B2B trade exhibitions in India, reinforcing the country’s position as a key player in the global plastics supply chain.
