SHOT Show 2026 Reaffirms Its Position as the World’s Largest Firearms and Outdoor Industry Trade Event

The 48th edition of SHOT Show, the world’s largest trade event for the firearms, shooting sports and outdoor industries, successfully concluded January 20–23 in Las Vegas, spanning The Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum. Owned and produced by NSSF—The Firearm Industry Trade Association, the trade-only exhibition once again highlighted its role as the flagship global marketplace for one of America’s most economically significant manufacturing sectors.

Covering more than 830,000 net square feet of sold-out exhibit space, SHOT Show 2026 welcomed over 2,800 exhibitors and attracted more than 53,000 qualified industry professionals from all 50 U.S. states and 126 countries. Ranked as the ninth-largest trade show in the United States, SHOT Show remains the single largest annual event hosted at both The Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum.

Product Innovation Across 14 Miles of Show Floor

Attendees navigated nearly 14 miles of exhibit aisles, discovering thousands of new product launches and technology innovations shaping the future of the industry. Key product categories on display included:

  • Firearms and ammunition
  • Optics and range technology
  • Safes and storage solutions
  • Law enforcement and military equipment
  • Archery and hunting accessories
  • Apparel and outdoor gear
  • E-commerce tools and compliance resources

Among the notable exhibitors, Garmin Ltd., the U.S.-based multinational technology company, unveiled its latest GPS-enabled products designed for outdoor and tactical applications. A standout launch was the Tactix 8 Cerakote watch, featuring a 1.4-inch AMOLED display, sapphire lens, integrated flashlight and 24-hour health and wellness tracking.

“This thing is just awesome. It’s got flashlights on it and everything you need,” said Rehan Nana, Senior Media and Sponsorship Specialist at Garmin, highlighting the product’s appeal to tactical and outdoor professionals.

SHOT Show’s Economic Impact and Policy Engagement

Beyond the show floor, SHOT Show continues to serve as a major economic engine for Southern Nevada, generating over $88 million annually in non-gaming revenue. Its influence extends nationally through high-level policy engagement and industry advocacy.

The fifth annual NSSF Governors’ Forum brought together governors from seven states to discuss the role of firearm-related manufacturing in driving state economies. Additionally, the third annual Attorneys General Forum examined evolving legal and regulatory landscapes surrounding Second Amendment issues, reinforcing SHOT Show’s position as a key platform for industry dialogue.

Education and Show-Within-a-Show Growth

Education remained central to SHOT Show 2026, with SHOT University sessions offering retailers and shooting range operators insights into compliance, revenue growth, technology adoption and operational efficiency.

Specialised areas of the event continued to expand, led by the Supplier Showcase, a two-day “show within a show” featuring more than 600 OEM and third-party suppliers. The showcase enabled early-week sourcing and networking across manufacturing, materials, logistics and software solutions.

At Caesars Forum, the Archery Business + Hunting Retailer Pavilion, now in its third year, spotlighted innovation across traditional and emerging archery technologies, reflecting sustained growth and diversification within the sector.

A Global Cornerstone Event

With its unmatched scale, international reach and influence across innovation, policy and commerce, SHOT Show 2026 once again confirmed its status as the world’s most important annual gathering for the firearms, shooting sports and outdoor industries.
