PM Modi to Open 3rd Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show in Greater Noida

The stage is set for the third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS), scheduled from September 25 to 29, 2025 at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. This year’s event carries special significance as Russia has been named the partner country, marking a new chapter in the strengthening of trade and cultural exchanges between the two nations.

Organized to showcase Uttar Pradesh’s diverse industrial strengths, the trade show will spotlight key sectors including IT and IT-enabled services, MSMEs, agriculture, health, tourism, culture, energy, and the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative. The exhibition aims to position the state as a prominent global investment hub.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath noted that the first two editions of UPITS not only boosted exports but also gave the state a strong platform to gain recognition in international markets. The third edition is expected to further accelerate this momentum.

The event will host over 2,500 exhibitors and attract more than 500 overseas buyers, creating an expansive networking space for businesses, investors, and policymakers. Dedicated pavilions will highlight central and state programs such as PM Swanidhi, the PM Internship Program, and the CM Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan.

Adding a cultural dimension, the exhibition will feature a Khadi-themed fashion show, traditional performances, and tributes to Padma award-winning entrepreneurs and artisans from Uttar Pradesh, celebrating the state’s craft and heritage.

Daily knowledge-sharing sessions will cover high-priority themes including the state’s vision for a $1 trillion economy, electronics manufacturing, e-commerce, food processing, and healthcare initiatives. These sessions are designed to foster collaboration between government, industry leaders, and academic experts, driving fresh opportunities for growth.

The presence of a high-level Russian delegation—comprising leading businesses and cultural groups—demonstrates the increasing weight of global partnerships in Uttar Pradesh’s economic roadmap. This collaboration is expected to not only deepen bilateral relations but also open new markets for industries in both countries.

Stakeholders believe that the trade show will serve as a catalyst for entrepreneurship, innovation, and cross-cultural dialogue, paving the way for Uttar Pradesh’s broader integration into the global economy.
