Dubai, September 2026. This year, Wedding Mania ran for the first time as a standalone stream of EventMania Festival. Veranda Hall was open from 11:00 to 20:00, serving wedding industry professionals during the day and couples planning their weddings in the evening. More than one hundred brides attended. More had registered, but for a first dedicated edition, the turnout speaks for itself.
Conversations About the Craft and the Reality
Two panel discussions set the tone. Beyond the Beauty brought together the people who build weddings from the inside: décor, florals, production, stationery and the teams behind them. The Modern Dubai Wedding spoke to couples directly about budgets, regional uncertainty, technology, family expectations and endless choice. Recordings of both discussions will be published on the festival’s official channel.
Three Workshops You Can Act On
Keyury Desai walked through the complete bridal transformation, with one look for the ceremony and a second for the evening. Vaishali Shah showed which luxury details guests actually notice and which go unseen. Aarefa A. explained what a Pinterest image really costs and how much work stands behind it.
The Couple Who Stole the Show
The surprise of the day was our staged couple. The “bride” was transformed live during the workshop while the “groom” prepared separately. They then set off on a shoot across the venue’s décor locations, with guests following them, phones raised. The full story will appear in EventMag.Me.
A Wedding You Could Walk Into
The hall became a working wedding venue, with fresh flowers, décor installations, fully dressed table settings and ceremonial arches. The most photographed spot was a heart-shaped arch overlooking Dubai Marina. Guests left with gifts from participating vendors. Ready-made bachelorette packages drew particular interest, filling a gap the market clearly has. At the first-dance masterclasses, couples learned their steps right there on the floor.
The Longest Queue of the Day
It didn’t form for a photographer or a decorator. It formed for the palm reader. Brides, guests and exhibitors all stood in the same line. The future, it seems, interests everyone equally.

Panel recordings will be published on the official channel, and every participant will receive the festival photo gallery. Wedding Mania is now a permanent part of EventMania, and it will grow next year
