Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring 2026 Nears Full Capacity Ahead of January Show in Glasgow

Glasgow, Scotland: Exhibitor demand for Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring 2026 is rapidly approaching capacity, with the final exhibition stands being booked less than two weeks before the event opens. The show will take place from 18–20 January 2026 at the SEC, Glasgow, reaffirming its position as Scotland’s leading trade event for the retail sector.

As Scotland’s only dedicated trade fair for gifts, homewares, accessories, textiles, and crafts, the event provides a vital platform for suppliers to connect with independent retailers and buyers preparing for the spring season. The fair attracts businesses from across the country seeking new products, creative inspiration, and valuable industry connections.

Beyond its extensive exhibitor showcase, Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring 2026 offers a comprehensive programme of panel discussions and hands-on workshops designed to address current retail trends and operational challenges. Key sessions will explore digital marketing strategies, including TikTok and social media selling, the growing role of artificial intelligence in retail, visual merchandising techniques, and discussions on the future of Scotland’s town centres.

A highlight of the event is Nessie’s Den, where Launch Gallery exhibitors pitch their products to experienced retailers and industry experts. On Monday, 19 January, the judging panel will include Dawn Kane of the Scottish Seabird Centre, Carol Macrae from Eilean Donan Castle, and Wendy Ross of Ruby Red Gift Shops. Tuesday’s session will focus specifically on food and drink exhibitors, offering tailored feedback and commercial insight.

The popular Best Product Awards will once again recognise exhibitors showcasing products with strong commercial potential. The awards ceremony will take place at the end of the first day of the show, with winners receiving free stand space at the 2027 edition, providing a valuable incentive for innovation and excellence.

Event organisers expect the 2026 show to bring together a wide network of suppliers and retailers from across Scotland, supporting product sourcing, business networking, and industry insight at the start of the retail calendar year.

“Scotland’s Trade Fair delivers far more than its size suggests, bringing together some of the most creative and innovative suppliers in the market. From standout products to powerful networking and insight, it’s a date every retailer should have locked into their diary: 18–20 January.”

With exhibitor space nearly sold out and a strong programme of content, Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring 2026 is set to be a key retail trade event for the year ahead.
