The ninth edition of Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S’hail 2025) concluded in Doha after five days of displays, auctions, and cultural programming.
This year, the exhibition recorded its highest public attendance ever, underlining its growing prestige both regionally and globally among hunting and falconry events.
Over 202 local and international companies from 21 countries participated, reflecting strong exhibitor confidence toward this event and showcasing a wide range of equipment, accessories, and related services in the hunting and falconry fields.
In addition to product showcases, the exhibition included cultural and artistic performances, scientific lectures, fine-arts workshops, and an electronic falcon auction featuring rare species. These activities added depth and variety to the experience.
The closing ceremony saw the Supreme Organizing Committee and official sponsors being formally acknowledged for their contributions in making the edition a success.
The Public Relations and Communication Director at Katara, Salem Mabhkout Al Marri, said the strong turnout reflects both local and international interest, and reaffirms the exhibition’s role as a cultural touchstone deeply connected to heritage and identity.
Media coverage played a significant role in this success — print, audio-visual media and social media were all mobilized to highlight the exhibition’s daily activities, best pavilions, and visitor insights. A daily newsletter with event highlights was also distributed.
For Exhibition Globe’s audience, S’hail 2025 exemplifies how heritage-centred exhibitions can scale up, balancing commerce, culture, public engagement, and media strategy. It stands as a model of how to grow a specialized event into an internationally recognized gathering.
