As preparations accelerate for UNITI Expo 2026, we spoke with Ben Boroewitsch, CEO of com-a-tec and co-organizer of UNITI Expo, to gain exclusive insight into what the global service station and mobility industries can expect from the upcoming edition.

With record-breaking exhibition space, growing international participation, and several new features aimed at enhancing the visitor experience, UNITI Expo 2026 is shaping up to be the most ambitious edition in the event’s history.

UNITI Expo 2026 Is Just Five Months Away. What Can the Industry Expect?

Ben Boroewitsch:
I can confidently say that UNITI Expo 2026 will be the biggest and best edition we’ve ever organized. Event organizers often say that, but in our case, the numbers truly back it up.

We’ve expanded the exhibition space by 5,000 m², reaching a record 45,000 m². We’re expecting more than 500 exhibitors, and visitor registration—opened just days ago—is already in the thousands.

Everything is bigger: more space, more exhibitors, more visitors, and more international participation than ever before. We’re really looking forward to May, when the entire industry—fuel retailers, car wash operators, mobility experts, convenience specialists, and suppliers—comes together in Stuttgart for three days of innovation, networking, and new business opportunities.

Those who have attended previous editions already know that UNITI Expo has become the leading global meeting point for the service station and car wash industries.

How Important Is the International Scope of UNITI Expo?

Although UNITI Expo is powered by Germany’s leading service station association, our greatest strength lies in our global outlook.

In 2024, we welcomed 18,000 attendees from 110 countries, and we expect to exceed that number in 2026. We now work with 92 international partners, including companies, trade publications, associations, and regional events.

Between each edition, this network allows us to reach more than one million industry professionals worldwide. Today, UNITI Expo is the meeting place for retailers and suppliers from Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.

What’s New in the UNITI Expo 2026 Format?

In 2024, we introduced the Future Mobility Lounge, showcasing the technologies and energy solutions shaping today’s and tomorrow’s transport—ultrafast EV charging, hydrogen, biofuels, e-fuels, and more.

Due to overwhelming interest, we’ve doubled the size of this area for 2026, with over 30 exhibitors already confirmed.

Another major upgrade is the digital visitor portal. Visitors will be able to schedule meetings with exhibitors in advance, making it easier for busy professionals to maximize their time at the show.

We’ve also expanded catering options to match the growing event size. Alongside the popular GenussGARTEN two-story food court in Hall 1, there will be an extended catering area in Hall 3 and a brand-new food zone in Hall 5.
All catering is completely free of charge, allowing visitors to focus fully on business.

How Does UNITI Expo Represent the Entire Industry Ecosystem?

UNITI Expo covers the entire service station, car wash, and mobility ecosystem—from fuel retailers and car wash operators to convenience experts, technology providers, and alternative fuel innovators

The show is structured around four core areas:

  • Shop & Convenience
  • Oil Companies & Fuel Retailers
  • Car Wash & Car Care
  • Technology, Payment & Logistics

With over 150 car wash exhibitors, UNITI Expo has become the largest car wash industry gathering outside the United States. This structure ensures that every segment of the industry is represented in a comprehensive and international way.

What’s Your Message to Undecided Exhibitors and Visitors?

The message is clear: UNITI Expo 2026 will be the biggest and most international edition we’ve ever organized, and demand is higher than ever.

For exhibitors, only limited space remains, and it’s filling fast. UNITI Expo offers direct access to key decision-makers, making it a powerful platform for visibility, partnerships, and new business.

For visitors, the value proposition is hard to beat. Attendance is completely free and includes catering, full access to the conference program, Wi-Fi, and the digital visitor portal. The only costs are travel and accommodation—and we strongly recommend booking hotels early, as Stuttgart fills up quickly during the event.

UNITI Expo is designed to ensure visitors get maximum value from every minute spent in Stuttgart.
