The Vomela Companies, a leading North American provider of visual communications, graphics, and experiential events, has announced the acquisition of Moss Inc., a globally recognised producer of premium event and retail graphics, complex structures, and custom installations. The move brings together two highly respected companies in the live events and experiential marketing space.
As part of the transaction, Vomela will combine its Fusion events business with Moss. The unified organisation will operate as Moss, A Vomela Company, preserving the strength and global recognition of the Moss brand. Moss President and CEO Jason Popp will continue to lead the business.
Founded in 1955 and headquartered in Franklin Park, Illinois, Moss is known for its award-winning tension fabric architecture, modular systems, and immersive experiential environments. The company works with many of the world’s most recognised brands, agencies, exhibit houses, and architectural partners, and maintains a strong international footprint with operations in Germany, Poland, the UK, and Spain.
“Joining Vomela allows Moss to accelerate our mission of delivering premium, sustainable experiential environments for global brands,” said Jason Popp. “Vomela’s scale, infrastructure, and operational strength give us the ability to serve customers with greater reach, speed, and consistency. This partnership creates exciting opportunities for both our clients and our teams.”
Mark Auth, President and CEO of The Vomela Companies, said the combination is a natural fit. “Moss has earned an exceptional reputation for crafted experiential environments. Their design and structural engineering expertise complements Vomela’s strengths in printing, fabrication, installation, and logistics. Together, we create the most capable experiential and events company in the world. Moss’s established presence in the UK and Europe also gives us immediate international reach.”
Vomela operates more than 20 production facilities and employs over 1,600 people across North America. The company supports global brands, major retailers, and iconic events—from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the TCS New York City Marathon to nationwide fleet programs and large-scale retail décor. Adding Moss’s engineering capabilities and global footprint further strengthens Vomela’s ability to deliver brand experiences anywhere in the world.
The Riverside Company invested in Vomela in January 2025 to support its continued growth through strategic expansion and acquisitions. The addition of Moss is Vomela’s second acquisition since that investment and reflects a shared focus on expanding geographic reach and service capabilities to meet the evolving needs of brands.
“Our investment in Moss has come full circle,” said Riverside Partner Craig Kahler. “Riverside acquired Moss from the Moss family in 2000 and sold it in 2008. We’re thrilled to bring this remarkable company back into the Riverside ecosystem as part of our vision for Vomela.”
Marc Jourlait, Lead Operating Partner at The Riverside Company and Chairman of the Board of The Vomela Companies, added, “This is a defining moment for Vomela. By bringing Fusion and Moss together under Jason’s leadership, we are building a global powerhouse positioned to shape the future of live events and brand experiences.”
