Bharat Tex 2026, India’s largest global textile exhibition, will take place from July 14 to July 17, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, bringing together the entire textile value chain on a single international platform. Organised by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation, with the support of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, the event aims to strengthen India’s position as a global leader in textiles, fashion, sustainability, innovation, technology and international trade.
Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5F Vision – Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign, Bharat Tex 2026 has evolved into a key international business platform for manufacturers, exporters, buyers, investors, policymakers, designers, start-ups, technology providers and global industry leaders.
Bharat Tex 2026 Expected to Draw Over 1.3 Lakh Trade Visitors
The third edition of Bharat Tex is expected to attract more than 7,000 buyers, 1.3 lakh trade visitors, and showcase over 20,000 textile products across an exhibition area spanning 1.6 million square feet. Organisers expect the event to generate significant business opportunities through networking, sourcing and commercial partnerships.
More than 1,600 exhibitors will participate across dedicated exhibition halls featuring fibre, yarn, fabrics, apparel, fashion, home textiles, technical textiles and supporting industries. The exhibition will also highlight India’s renowned textile clusters, including Tirupur, Ichalkaranji and Ahmedabad, alongside international exhibitors from 14 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Portugal, Spain, New Zealand, South Korea and South Africa.
Global Speakers and International Participation
Bharat Tex 2026 will feature over 350 speakers from more than 20 countries, including industry leaders, policymakers, international experts and corporate executives. A dedicated International Pavilion will facilitate cross-border business engagement and policy discussions involving delegates from countries such as the United States, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, South Korea, Thailand, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Egypt and Indonesia.
The event has also received strong support from Indian states. Eight sponsor states—Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu—will showcase their textile industries, while nine additional states and Union Territories will present investment opportunities, manufacturing capabilities and textile clusters.

A major highlight of Bharat Tex 2026 is its extensive conference programme featuring more than 100 knowledge sessions, including panel discussions, roundtables, masterclasses and state-focused sessions. The discussions will cover critical industry themes such as:

Thousands of Business Meetings and Investment Opportunities
The event is expected to facilitate around 3,500 curated B2B meetings, over 100 B2G meetings, and the signing of more than 20 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) across trade, technology, sustainability and investment.
Dedicated State Investor Connect Sessions will allow participating states to present industrial infrastructure, PM MITRA initiatives, investment incentives and policy support aimed at attracting domestic and international investors.
Growing International Interest in Bharat Tex
Bharat Tex 2026 continues to gain international recognition, with ministerial delegations from countries including New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Cambodia and Brunei expected to attend. Business delegations from the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Uganda will also participate to explore sourcing, investment and trade opportunities.
Special country-focused sessions will address bilateral cooperation, including discussions on the India-US cotton partnership, India-New Zealand wool ecosystem, India-UK Free Trade Agreement, Japanese textile collaboration and Russia-focused textile trade.
CITI Textile Sustainability Awards 2026 to Recognise Industry Excellence
Bharat Tex 2026 will also host the CITI Textile Sustainability Awards 2026, recognising excellence across seven key sustainability areas, including resource efficiency, renewable energy, circular economy, sustainable materials, social responsibility, responsible business practices and industry collaboration.
With large-scale participation from global buyers, exhibitors, policymakers and investors, Bharat Tex 2026 is expected to further strengthen India’s textile industry, promote sustainable manufacturing and enhance the country’s global textile exports.
