The fourth edition of BiS SiGMA South America has wrapped up in Sao Paulo, leaving behind a series of standout moments after four action-packed days. With Brazil’s gaming industry steadily transitioning out of the grey zone and experiencing rising demand, the summit has solidified its position as a key meeting point for stakeholders across the sector. Year-on-year growth and strong participation highlight the event’s continued relevance and strategic timing.
Star Power and Elevated Experiences Set the Tone
This year’s summit brought added excitement with appearances from renowned figures such as Formula 1 legend Rubens Barrichello and UFC champion Carlos Prates. Their presence, combined with curated networking experiences, reinforced the event’s promise to return bigger and better than ever.
Immersive Networking Redefines Day One
Breaking away from conventional formats, the opening day focused on dynamic and engaging networking opportunities. The Nexus Elite golf tournament hosted 40 select guests for a full day of high-level interaction on the green, complemented by an elegant sit-down lunch and champagne stops throughout the course.
Simultaneously, the pre-registration event at Boteco São Bento in Vila Madalena welcomed delegates with early badge collection and a vibrant all-day reception. A traditional Brazilian BBQ, live cooking stations, and a DJ-led atmosphere created an authentic and relaxed environment for meaningful connections.
Unique Experiences Leave a Lasting Impression
Delegates seeking adventure were treated to the iFLY Brazil experience, offering an unforgettable indoor skydiving session that quickly became a highlight of the event. Later in the evening, attendees stepped into “Sweet Secrets,” a speakeasy-style bar inspired by 1960s New York, complete with vintage décor, handcrafted cocktails, and an exclusive ambiance that encouraged deeper networking.
SiGMA Awards Highlight Industry Excellence and Charity
The first day concluded with the prestigious SiGMA Awards, bringing together gaming associations, ambassadors, and industry leaders for an evening of recognition and philanthropy. The ceremony honoured notable figures including Almir Ribeiro, CEO of BetMGM Brazil, Oscar Orue, Paraguay’s National Director of Tax Revenue, and Cassio Filter of KTO.
The event also featured a charity auction, raising nearly €25,000, underscoring the industry’s commitment to giving back. The Hall of Game segment further celebrated outstanding contributions, reinforcing the summit’s role in recognising excellence across the gaming ecosystem.
A Growing Hub for the Gaming Industry
As BiS SiGMA South America continues to expand, its blend of high-level networking, immersive experiences, and industry recognition cements its status as a must-attend event. With Brazil emerging as a key regulated market, the summit is increasingly positioned at the heart of the region’s gaming transformation.
