Cvent Unveils New Brand Identity and Announces US$1 Billion Investment in AI and Event Technology

Global event technology company Cvent has unveiled a new brand identity while announcing plans to invest more than US$1 billion in technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and product innovation. The investment reflects the company’s long-term commitment to transforming the meetings, events, and hospitality industry through advanced digital solutions while reinforcing the growing importance of in-person experiences.

Announcement Made at Cvent CONNECT 2026 in Nashville

The announcement was made during Cvent CONNECT in Nashville, the company’s flagship annual customer conference. The event welcomed nearly 5,000 in-person attendees, alongside thousands of virtual participants from around the world, making it one of the industry’s largest gatherings focused on event technology and innovation.

The conference served as a platform for unveiling Cvent’s future vision, new technologies, and strategic initiatives designed to support event organisers, marketers, venues, and hospitality professionals.

New Brand Identity Reflects the Value of Human Connection

Developed in partnership with global brand consultancy Wolff Olins, Cvent’s refreshed brand identity is based on insights collected from more than 1,500 external stakeholders. At the core of the rebranding is the concept of the “Presence Premium,” which highlights the increasing value of face-to-face interactions in an era where AI-generated content is becoming more common.

The new identity reinforces Cvent’s belief that authentic, in-person experiences continue to play a critical role in building trust, strengthening relationships, and driving business growth.

Research Highlights Growing Importance of In-Person Events

To support its new brand strategy, Cvent commissioned research that reveals the continued importance of live events in today’s AI-driven environment. According to the findings, 81% of respondents said they have greater trust in organisations after attending an in-person event, while 85% believe the rapid growth of AI-generated content has made establishing trust more challenging.

A separate study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Cvent found that 70% of business leaders believe in-person events have become even more valuable as AI-generated content becomes increasingly widespread across industries.

These findings reinforce the role of business events as trusted platforms for relationship building, collaboration, and meaningful engagement.

Cvent Launches Center for Event Insights

As part of its broader innovation strategy, Cvent also introduced the Cvent Center for Event Insights, a new research and thought leadership initiative dedicated to exploring the evolving relationship between events, hospitality, technology, and business growth.

The centre will provide industry research, market insights, and data-driven analysis to help organisations better understand emerging trends and maximise the impact of meetings and events.

Leadership Highlights the Future of Events

Commenting on the announcement, Reggie Aggarwal, Founder and CEO of Cvent, emphasised the growing significance of authentic human interaction in an AI-powered world.

He noted that while artificial intelligence can generate content at scale, genuine face-to-face experiences remain essential for building trust, meaningful relationships, and long-term business success. He added that this belief forms the foundation of Cvent’s new brand identity and reinforces why events should remain central to every organisation’s growth strategy.

Amy Lucia, Chief Marketing Officer of Cvent, said the company’s refreshed brand reflects its confidence in the power of events. She added that the supporting research provides event professionals, marketers, and hospitality leaders with compelling evidence that in-person experiences continue to deliver measurable business value.

Strengthening the Future of Event Technology

With its new brand identity, significant investment in AI, and launch of the Cvent Center for Event Insights, Cvent is positioning itself to lead the next phase of innovation in the global meetings and events industry.

As organisations increasingly combine digital capabilities with live experiences, Cvent’s latest initiatives highlight the company’s commitment to delivering intelligent event technology solutions while demonstrating that in-person engagement remains one of the most effective ways to build trust, strengthen relationships, and drive business growth in the modern economy.
