DefSat 2026 India’s Premier Defence-Space Conference & Expo to Be Held in New Delhi

New Delhi, India: DefSat 2026, India’s flagship Defence-Space Conference & Expo, will take place from February 24–26, 2026 at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi. Organised by the Satcom Industry Association (SIA-India), the event is set to bring together top representatives from the Armed Forces, policymakers, homeland security agencies, defence-space technologists, and industry leaders on a unified national platform.

Over the years, DefSat has emerged as a key forum for strengthening India’s defence-space ecosystem by fostering collaboration between government stakeholders and private industry. The conference has consistently focused on advancing space-based capabilities to enhance national security preparedness.

Focus on Institutionalised Space Adoption

The 2026 edition marks a significant transition from capability development to the institutionalised adoption of space-based solutions within India’s security framework. The event will spotlight the integration of satellite-enabled intelligence, surveillance, communications, and navigation systems as critical force multipliers across the tri-services, border security forces, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and internal security agencies.

High-level policy dialogues and focused technical discussions will address how space-enabled services can be embedded at every operational layer of national defence.

IndSpaceX Wargame 4.0: Live Strategic Simulation

A major highlight of the conference will be the IndSpaceX Wargame 4.0, a real-time simulation exercise designed to replicate complex defence-space scenarios and operational challenges. The wargame aims to test coordination, readiness, and the practical deployment of advanced space technologies in dynamic threat environments.

Strengthening India’s Defence-Space Doctrine

DefSat 2026 seeks to reinforce the strategic importance of multi-dimensional space integration in safeguarding India’s national interests. The platform will enable structured engagement to support policy alignment, operational readiness, and long-term strategic planning.

Key deliberations and recommendations emerging from the conference will be formally documented, contributing to the ongoing evolution of India’s defence-space doctrine and enhancing collaboration between public and private sector stakeholders.

With participation from senior defence officials, policymakers, and leading technology providers, DefSat 2026 is poised to shape the future of India’s defence-space capabilities and security architecture.
