EventMobi and Walls.io have announced a new integration that brings live social media walls directly into EventMobi’s Mobile Event App and Live Display, giving event organisers a new way to showcase attendee-generated content in real time.
The integration allows attendee posts, photos, videos and reactions to appear alongside information attendees already access during an event, including session schedules, sponsor messages and event updates.
The partnership reflects the growing importance of user-generated content in the events industry, as organisers look for more authentic ways to increase participation and engagement.
EventMobi and Walls.io Bring Social Content Into Event Apps
Social media has become an established part of event marketing, but the new EventMobi and Walls.io integration aims to make attendee-generated content more visible throughout the event experience.
Instead of requiring attendees to visit a separate social wall or website, social content can now be displayed directly within the EventMobi Mobile Event App and on digital signage powered by Live Display.
Organisers can showcase posts from social media platforms, event hashtag content, attendee submissions, photo booth images and live reactions. The content can be moderated before appearing publicly, helping event teams maintain control over what is displayed.
The social wall can also be customised to match an event’s branding, creating a more consistent experience across mobile and physical event environments.
Attendees Increasingly Create and Share Event Content
The growing role of attendee-generated content is reflected in data from Walls.io’s 2026 Event Engagement Index.
According to the report, 67% of respondents said they are very likely to create and share photos, videos and reviews during an event, while 88.6% said live participation is essential to their event experience.
Event screens were identified as the leading engagement channel, with 60.8% of respondents selecting them.
These figures highlight the potential value of displaying attendee content where people are already looking for event information.
Why User-Generated Content Matters for Events
As AI-generated content becomes increasingly common across digital platforms, authentic content created by real attendees can offer event organisers a different type of credibility.
A photo, reaction or review shared by a named attendee can provide an immediate view of the event experience from the perspective of someone who is actually present.
However, social media content can also be highly temporary. A post published during a session may quickly disappear from users’ feeds as new content is added.
The Walls.io social wall integration with EventMobi is designed to extend the visibility of this content by bringing it into the event environment itself.
Attendees can see their posts displayed on event screens or within the mobile app, encouraging more participants to contribute content and interact with the event.
Walls.io Supports More Than 9,000 Brands
Walls.io brings extensive experience in social media aggregation and social wall technology to the partnership.
The company works with more than 9,000 brands globally, with more than 70% of its customers using Walls.io for events, according to the company.
Walls.io also reports having 56 partner integrations across digital signage, employee engagement and event technology, including 30 integrations with event technology platforms.
The company has worked with organisations including the World Health Organization and Cisco on social display and engagement initiatives.
How the EventMobi Social Wall Integration Works
The integration is designed to simplify the process of adding social content to an event.
Organisers can create their social wall in Walls.io and then add the wall link to the relevant areas of the EventMobi platform.
Within the EventMobi Mobile Event App, organisers can display the wall as a social section. On Live Display, the same wall can be presented as a dedicated social screen.
A single social wall can also be displayed in different formats depending on the screen. For example, organisers can use a carousel-style presentation within the event app while showing a larger billboard-style layout on onsite digital displays.
Moderation and Branding Give Organisers More Control
Event organisers can use Walls.io’s moderation tools to review content before it appears publicly.
This is particularly important for large events where content can be generated rapidly across multiple social platforms.
Organisers can also select which types of content they want to display, including social media posts, branded hashtags, QR-code submissions, photo booth content and live attendee reactions.
The ability to customise the social wall allows organisers to align the content with their event branding while maintaining a consistent visual experience.
Social Walls Can Extend Event Marketing Beyond the Venue
The benefits of the EventMobi and Walls.io integration can continue after an event has ended.
Attendee-generated photos, reactions and posts collected during an event can provide marketing teams with a library of authentic event content.
This material can potentially be reused in promotional campaigns for future editions, social media posts, event websites and other marketing communications.
Instead of relying exclusively on professionally produced campaign content, organisers can draw on reactions from people who actually attended the event.
EventMobi and Walls.io Focus on Attendee Engagement
For event organisers, engagement remains one of the key indicators of a successful event.
Displaying attendee posts can create a direct connection between participation and recognition. When attendees see their own content displayed on a large event screen or within the event app, they become active contributors to the event environment.
The integration therefore combines social media engagement, attendee recognition, event technology and content marketing within an existing event infrastructure.
Daniela Turcanu, Head of Marketing at Walls.io, said the integration enables organisers to spend less time setting up social content while creating more opportunities for attendees to participate and for marketing teams to reuse authentic event content.
Bob Vaez, CEO and Co-Founder of EventMobi, also highlighted the importance of real attendee-created content in an environment increasingly influenced by AI-generated material.
