EEA 2026 Celebrates a Decade of Growth and Industry Leadership
The 10th Decennial Edition of the Exhibition Excellence Awards & Summit (EEA 2026) concluded on a historic high at the CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre in Navi Mumbai, attracting more than 1,200 delegates and recording the highest participation in the event’s decade-long history. Organized by Exhibition Showcase, the summit reaffirmed its position as one of India’s premier platforms for the exhibitions, conferences, MICE, and events industry.
Bringing together exhibition organizers, conference planners, venue operators, event service providers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, industry associations, and international stakeholders, EEA 2026 served as a dynamic platform for networking, knowledge sharing, business collaborations, and industry recognition.
India Event Expo Records Its Largest Edition Yet
A major highlight of EEA 2026 was the largest-ever edition of India Event Expo, featuring 136 exhibition booths showcasing cutting-edge event technologies, venue solutions, exhibition infrastructure, and innovative business event services.
The expo offered participants an opportunity to explore the latest trends shaping the future of exhibitions, conferences, and corporate events while fostering valuable partnerships across the industry ecosystem.
Strong Government Participation Highlights Sector Importance
The opening ceremony witnessed participation from senior representatives of several key government organizations, demonstrating growing institutional support for India’s business events industry.
Prominent participating organizations included the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Maharashtra Tourism, Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (MSSIDC), India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), and Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (MPTDC).
Their presence underscored the increasing recognition of exhibitions and conventions as major contributors to economic growth, tourism development, and investment promotion.
Global Industry Leaders Strengthen International Collaboration
EEA 2026 also attracted significant international participation from leading global organizations such as UFI – The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry and ICCA – International Congress and Convention Association.

Leadership Roundtable Discusses Viksit Bharat 2047 Vision
One of the most significant highlights of EEA 2026 was the Leadership Roundtable titled “Role of the Exhibition Industry in India’s Viksit Bharat @2047 Roadmap.”
The strategic discussion brought together government representatives, international associations, venue operators, exhibition organizers, and industry leaders to explore the long-term role of the exhibition sector in India’s economic development journey.
Key recommendations emerging from the discussion included strengthening convention bureaus and destination promotion organizations, supporting the continued development of the Maharashtra Convention Bureau, expanding exhibition and convention infrastructure, encouraging greater state government participation in attracting business events, creating an integrated ecosystem involving public and private stakeholders, enhancing experiential elements within trade fairs, increasing international partnerships, and investing in technology, artificial intelligence, and talent development.

With record-breaking attendance, expanded international participation, and forward-looking policy discussions, the Exhibition Excellence Awards & Summit 2026 successfully celebrated a decade of industry excellence while setting the stage for the next phase of growth.
The event highlighted India’s rising prominence as a global exhibitions and MICE destination and emphasized the importance of collaboration, innovation, and infrastructure development in building a world-class business events ecosystem aligned with the nation’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
