EVENTIT has announced that its acclaimed EXPERIENCEit learning forum will make its Bristol debut on 7–8 July 2026, bringing a unique blend of professional development, networking, and interactive learning opportunities to MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) professionals across the South West.
Following successful editions in Edinburgh and Manchester, EXPERIENCEit Bristol will take place across two leading venues, The Watershed and Pizza on the Park, delivering a dynamic two-day programme designed to inspire, educate, and connect event industry professionals.
Day One Focuses on Behavioural Intelligence and Professional Growth
The first day of EXPERIENCEit Bristol will be held at The Watershed on 7 July 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The programme will feature a specially designed Behaviour Lab, created and delivered exclusively for the event by the Event Academy, the UK’s only CIM-accredited events training provider.
Previously available only to Event Academy students, the workshop has been adapted for a wider industry audience. The session is designed to help event professionals better understand their own behavioural styles and improve communication with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Participants will complete a personal behavioural assessment before the event and take part in a hands-on workshop using the C-Me profiling methodology, a colour-coded system that identifies workplace communication styles and behavioural preferences.
The training has been tailored specifically for the events industry, incorporating real-life scenarios involving venues, agencies, suppliers, clients, and internal teams. The approach is particularly accessible for neurodiverse professionals and provides practical strategies that can be immediately applied in the workplace.
Delegates will leave with a personalized behavioural profile and a framework for adapting communication styles to improve collaboration and performance.
Event Academy Highlights Importance of Behavioural Skills
Claire Derrick, Founder of Event Academy, emphasized the growing importance of behavioural awareness in the events sector.
She explained that event professionals frequently manage multiple stakeholders under pressure, making effective communication and adaptability essential skills. Derrick noted that understanding personal working styles and recognizing how others communicate can significantly improve professional effectiveness and career development.
According to Derrick, the Behaviour Lab aims to provide attendees with practical tools and self-awareness that can be implemented immediately after the event.
Networking Continues with Interactive Social Experience
Following the workshop, delegates will attend a unique evening networking event at the Harbour Hotel. The session will feature a “deception dinner,” combining social interaction with an engaging imposter-spotting challenge designed to encourage meaningful conversations and stronger industry connections.
Day Two Features Industry Speakers, Workshops, and Exhibitors
The second day of EXPERIENCEit Bristol will take place at Pizza on the Park on 8 July 2026, running from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The programme will include keynote presentations, interactive workshops, wellness activities, and networking opportunities with exhibitors and industry partners. Confirmed exhibitors include ACF Events, De Vere, Doubletree by Hilton Bristol City Centre, and SS Great Britain.
The event will conclude with an after-party, providing delegates with additional opportunities to connect and share ideas in a relaxed setting.
EVENTIT Aims to Inspire Collaboration and Creativity
Judith Wilson, Events Director at EVENTIT, said the Bristol edition has been designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and meaningful engagement within the events industry.
She highlighted the diverse range of activities planned across the two days and praised the Behaviour Lab workshop as an invaluable learning experience for attendees. Wilson also noted that the selected venues offer an ideal environment for networking, learning, and community building.
