International Participation Expands Across Five HKTDC Fairs

The HKTDC Hong Kong Trade Fairs 2026 will feature 43 group pavilions, representing a wide range of markets across Asia, Europe and the Americas.

A major highlight this year is the participation of exhibitors from all Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member states in the two trade fairs. Brunei and Timor-Leste will make their debut appearances, while Colombia and Greece will also participate for the first time.

The Korea Pavilion is another major international highlight. Its presence has expanded by approximately 40% compared with last year, with more than 130 exhibitors expected to participate. HKTDC says the Korea Pavilion will be the largest overseas pavilion across the August fair programme.

The expanded international participation reflects Hong Kong’s role as a gateway connecting suppliers, brands and buyers from different parts of the world.

Food Expo PRO Introduces New Food and Technology Zones

Food Expo PRO 2026 will introduce several new and expanded areas designed to showcase changing consumer preferences and innovations in the food industry.

A new Meat Zone will focus on premium meat products and related offerings. The Coffee Zone will also return, bringing together participants from Yunnan, Colombia, Macao, Myanmar, Thailand and the United States.

The Food Science and Technology Zone will focus on alternative foods, future food products and food-service technologies. Among the innovations on display will be a food-service robot demonstrating how automation and artificial intelligence can support restaurant operations.

For the first time, pet food products will also be featured at Food Expo PRO.

Another major focus will be halal food and beverages. More than 130 exhibitors across Food Expo PRO and Food Expo will carry the halal food and beverage label. A dedicated halal networking reception is scheduled for August 14, providing an additional opportunity for businesses to connect with buyers and industry professionals.

Hong Kong International Tea Fair Highlights Tea Innovation

The Hong Kong International Tea Fair 2026 will bring together tea producers, brands and related businesses from the Chinese Mainland, Kenya, Laos, Sri Lanka and other international markets.

New additions to the programme include a Chinese Mainland Matcha Pavilion and a Yixing Zisha Teaware Pavilion, highlighting both tea products and traditional tea culture.

The fair will also introduce a Tea Lifestyle zone, showcasing new ways of experiencing tea. Products and activities will include sparkling tea, tea cocktails, tea pastries, teaware and tea meditation.

The Hong Kong International Tea Culture Forum will further examine the international development and growth opportunities for Chinese tea brands, providing a platform for industry discussion and knowledge exchange.

Beauty, Wellness and Home Products Take Centre Stage

The Beauty & Wellness Expo 2026 will introduce the new Stay Relax zone, focusing on products and solutions designed to support relaxation, rest and recovery.

Meanwhile, the Home Delights Expo 2026 will add the Go Sleep Exp area, highlighting products connected with sleep health and improving the home environment for better rest.

These new zones reflect growing consumer interest in wellness, self-care, healthy lifestyles and products designed to improve everyday quality of life.

Chinese Medicine Conference Expands to Three Days

The International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products will expand its programme from two days to three days in 2026.

The expanded conference programme is expected to provide a platform for researchers, healthcare professionals, businesses, regulators and other stakeholders to discuss the future development and global opportunities of Chinese medicine.
