Houston Tents & Events has acquired Jaacked Event Rentals, expanding its event rental operations into West Texas and establishing a new West Texas Division.
The acquisition strengthens Houston Tents & Events’ presence across the Texas event industry while bringing the company’s expanded rental capabilities to customers in San Angelo, Midland-Odessa, Abilene, Lubbock, and surrounding communities.
Jaacked Event Rentals has served West Texas customers since 2019. As part of the acquisition, owners Jomar Alcala and Priscilla De Luna Alcala will remain involved with the business, continuing to provide local leadership and customer support.
Houston Tents & Events Establishes West Texas Division
The deal creates the Houston Tents & Events – West Texas Division, giving the company a broader geographic footprint and strengthening its ability to serve event organizers across Texas.
The expansion combines Jaacked Event Rentals’ local market knowledge and customer relationships with Houston Tents & Events’ resources and operational capabilities. Customers in West Texas will also gain access to a wider selection of event infrastructure and rental equipment.
The expanded offerings include event tents, temporary structures, portable power, climate control solutions, and event rental equipment designed to support a variety of events and projects.
According to Darren Randle, founder and CEO of Houston Tents & Events, the acquisition is focused on expanding capabilities while maintaining the relationships that have helped Jaacked Event Rentals build its reputation in West Texas.

Since its founding in 2019, Jaacked Event Rentals has built a customer base across several West Texas markets, including San Angelo, Midland-Odessa, Abilene, and Lubbock.
