Messe Muenchen India Expands Mumbai Office to Support Rapid Business Growth
MUMBAI, INDIA: Messe Muenchen India has expanded its corporate office in Mumbai just two years after relocating to the facility, highlighting the company’s exceptional business growth and increasing presence in India’s trade fair and exhibition industry. The expansion comes after the organization exceeded its original five-year workplace capacity plan in only two years, demonstrating the pace of its growth.
The newly expanded office was inaugurated by Christoph Hallier, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Mumbai, in the presence of children from the NGO TOUCH, exhibitors, industry leaders, business partners, stakeholders, and employees.
Growth Beyond Expectations
Messe Muenchen India has witnessed remarkable expansion since 2023, significantly outperforming its long-term business projections. What was initially planned as a workspace capable of supporting five years of operations quickly became insufficient as the company experienced rapid growth across its business segments.
This accelerated expansion reflects the company’s strengthening position in India’s fast-growing exhibitions and trade fairs market, where demand for professional B2B events continues to rise.
Revenue More Than Doubles Since 2023
The company’s financial performance highlights the scale of its success. Since 2023, Messe Muenchen India’s business revenue has increased by more than 100%, making it one of the fastest-growing exhibition organizers in the country.
The company expects 2026 to become a landmark year, with projected revenue surpassing the total earnings generated during its first 15 years of operations in India combined. This achievement underscores the strong momentum across its expanding portfolio of exhibitions.
Exhibition Portfolio Continues to Expand
Messe Muenchen India has also experienced substantial growth in exhibition space, with a projected increase of more than 70% between 2023 and 2026. Rising exhibitor participation and increasing demand for industry-specific trade fairs have contributed significantly to this expansion.
Today, the company organizes 28 trade fairs covering a wide range of industries, including electronics, construction and infrastructure, environmental technologies, transport and logistics, laboratory technology, agriculture, laser and photonics, and renewable energy.
Workforce Strengthens Alongside Business Expansion
To support its growing operations, Messe Muenchen India has expanded its workforce by over 40%. The larger team reflects the increasing scale of its events and the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality experiences for exhibitors, visitors, and industry partners.
The investment in people further strengthens the organization’s ability to manage larger exhibitions while maintaining international standards of event management.
Modern Workspace Designed for Innovation
The expanded Mumbai office has been developed as a collaborative and innovation-driven workplace. The new facility features flexible workstations, hybrid meeting rooms, collaborative breakout spaces, and a dedicated Learning and Development (L&D) Hub designed to support employee growth and knowledge sharing.
An immersive experience room recreates the atmosphere of Messe Muenchen India’s exhibitions, while upgraded pantry, dining, and recreational facilities provide employees with a modern and engaging work environment.
Supporting the Future of India’s Exhibition Industry
The office expansion represents more than additional workspace-it reflects Messe Muenchen India’s long-term commitment to India’s growing exhibition industry. The upgraded infrastructure will enable the company to better serve exhibitors, visitors, partners, and stakeholders while preparing for future growth opportunities.
The expansion aligns with the vision of Bhupinder Singh, President – IMEA, Messe München and CEO of Messe Muenchen India, who continues to focus on investment, innovation, collaboration, and sustainable business growth as key drivers of the company’s leadership in the global trade fair industry.
Messe Muenchen India Strengthens Its Position in India
With strong financial growth, an expanding portfolio of international exhibitions, and continued investment in people and infrastructure, Messe Muenchen India is reinforcing its position as one of India’s leading trade fair organizers. The expansion of its Mumbai headquarters marks another important milestone in the company’s journey and demonstrates its confidence in the long-term growth potential of the Indian exhibitions market.
