Olympia Events, managed by Legends Global, has announced new multi-year agreements with three of the United Kingdom’s most influential business events-London Tech Week, Big Data LDN, and Decorex. The long-term commitments reinforce Olympia’s position as one of Europe’s leading destinations for exhibitions, conferences, and live events following its transformative £1.3 billion redevelopment project.
The agreements highlight growing confidence among event organisers in Olympia’s future as a world-class events destination, supported by upgraded infrastructure, enhanced event facilities, improved transport connectivity, expanded hotel capacity, and new hospitality and entertainment offerings.
Major Events Commit to Olympia’s Future Growth
Together, London Tech Week, Big Data LDN, and Decorex attract more than 60,000 attendees annually, making them some of the UK’s most significant gatherings for technology, data, artificial intelligence, design, and innovation.
The renewed partnerships reflect Olympia’s ability to support event growth while delivering enhanced visitor experiences through a combination of flexible exhibition halls, conference facilities, hotels, restaurants, and social spaces.
Andy O’Sullivan, CEO of Olympia Events, said the agreements demonstrate the trust organisers have in Olympia’s vision and its role in shaping the future of the events industry.
London Tech Week Extends Partnership Through 2028
One of the most significant announcements is the new three-year agreement with London Tech Week, which has experienced substantial growth since relocating to Olympia in 2024.
The 2026 edition welcomed more than 35,000 delegates, featured over 700 speakers, and hosted 250+ exhibitors and sponsors, establishing itself as one of Europe’s leading technology events.
Under the renewed agreement, London Tech Week will continue to expand in 2027 and 2028, making use of Olympia’s upcoming International Convention Centre (ICC). The new venue will provide additional exhibition and conference capacity while creating opportunities for enhanced programming, networking experiences, and international participation.
According to event organisers, Olympia’s transformation aligns perfectly with London Tech Week’s ambition to create a long-term home for the global technology community.
Big Data LDN Renews Long-Standing Relationship
Big Data LDN, one of the UK’s premier data, analytics, and artificial intelligence exhibitions, has also secured a new three-year agreement with Olympia.
Since launching at Olympia in 2016, the event has grown significantly from a specialist conference into one of the country’s largest data and AI industry gatherings. The exhibition has steadily expanded across multiple event spaces, eventually occupying both of Olympia’s largest halls.
Organisers highlighted Olympia’s flexibility and continued investment as key reasons for extending the partnership. The addition of new hotels, restaurants, bars, and meeting spaces is expected to strengthen networking opportunities and create a more engaging experience for delegates, exhibitors, and speakers.
Decorex Continues Commitment to Olympia
Luxury interiors exhibition Decorex has also renewed its partnership with Olympia under a new two-year agreement.
Since moving to Olympia in 2019, Decorex has experienced strong growth, expanding into both The Grand Hall and National Hall. Organisers believe Olympia’s iconic architecture, natural light, and historic character complement the premium experience expected by the luxury interiors and design community.
The redevelopment’s expanded hospitality offering is also expected to enhance visitor engagement by encouraging longer stays and providing additional spaces for client meetings and networking beyond the exhibition floor.
Olympia Emerges as a Leading European Events Destination
The latest agreements come during a period of significant transformation for Olympia. The venue’s £1.3 billion redevelopment is creating one of Europe’s most ambitious mixed-use destinations for events, business, entertainment, hospitality, and culture.
The project includes new hotels, office spaces, restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, and public areas designed to extend visitor engagement before, during, and after events.
Industry leaders view the redevelopment as a major investment in London’s business events sector, strengthening the city’s ability to attract international exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows.
London Strengthens Global Events Leadership
Janet Coyle, Managing Director for Grow London at London & Partners, described the redevelopment as a strong vote of confidence in London’s position as a global destination for business events.
She noted that the enhanced facilities and destination experience are creating new opportunities for tourism, investment, and economic growth across West London while supporting major international events such as London Tech Week.
With world-class infrastructure, excellent transport links, and a growing range of hospitality offerings, Olympia is increasingly positioned as a venue capable of hosting some of the world’s most influential exhibitions and conferences.
Olympia Showcases Future Vision at The Meetings Show
The Olympia Events team, alongside Legends Global, will showcase the venue’s transformed event spaces and future development plans at The Meetings Show, taking place on 24–25 June. Visitors will be able to meet the team at Stand D70 to learn more about Olympia’s expanding event capabilities and how the destination is helping organisers deliver impactful experiences that extend beyond traditional exhibition venues.
As demand grows for integrated event destinations that combine business, networking, hospitality, and entertainment, Olympia’s continued partnerships with London Tech Week, Big Data LDN, and Decorex demonstrate its growing influence within the global events industry.
