RCP London Events welcomed more than 150 clients, event planners, suppliers, industry partners, agents, and prospective customers to the fourth edition of its annual Secret Garden Fest, held in June at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP), London. The popular networking event highlighted the venue’s outdoor event capabilities, seasonal catering, and innovative event production in a vibrant summer setting.
Secret Garden Fest Highlights Flexible Event Spaces
Held across the Royal College of Physicians’ historic Medicinal Garden and adjoining indoor venues, Secret Garden Fest 2026 was designed to demonstrate the flexibility of the venue for corporate events, summer parties, receptions, and networking functions.
For the first time, the event layout was reimagined to provide complete weather protection while maintaining a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The refreshed design showcased how the venue can comfortably host events regardless of changing weather conditions.
The setup featured a stylish stretch tent, parasols, additional gazebos, cosy fleece blankets, and decorative festoon lighting, creating a relaxed festival-inspired atmosphere. Guests praised the new layout for encouraging greater interaction and networking throughout the evening.
Seasonal Catering Showcases Local London Produce
Food and beverage partner Company of Cooks presented a variety of live culinary experiences, including the venue’s signature outdoor pizza oven and an interactive poke bowl station, offering guests freshly prepared seasonal dishes.
The event also highlighted the venue’s London Larder concept, featuring locally sourced products from renowned suppliers including Cobble Lane, Paxton & Whitfield, Paul Rhodes Bakery, and Hackney Gelato. Beverage partners Ellis Wines, REAL Drinks, and Robin Ice Cream also participated, demonstrating the quality and diversity of independent UK producers available through the venue’s catering services.
Guests also enjoyed a selection of handcrafted cocktails and mocktails served from the popular Secret Garden Bar.
Sustainability and Technology Enhance Guest Experience
The event incorporated sustainable design elements throughout the venue, including colourful bunting created from upcycled textiles, adding an environmentally conscious touch to the outdoor celebration while complementing the natural surroundings of the Medicinal Garden.
Inside the venue, the in-house audiovisual team delivered an immersive projection mapping demonstration in the Wolfson Theatre, showcasing the Royal College of Physicians’ advanced event production capabilities. The presentation illustrated how creative lighting, projection technology, and technical expertise can transform corporate events while enhancing the venue’s historic architecture.
