Industry Leaders Join Global Experiential Design Authority
The Experiential Design Authority has officially announced the members of its 2026/2027 U.S. Advisory Board, bringing together some of the most accomplished professionals in experiential marketing, exhibit design, immersive experiences, and event innovation. The newly formed board includes more than three dozen experts representing exhibit houses, creative agencies, academic institutions, industry associations, immersive entertainment companies, and brand-side marketing teams.
Strengthening Global Experiential Design Standards
The announcement marks another major step in TEDA’s mission to elevate recognition standards across the experiential design industry worldwide. The board will play a critical role in judging the organization’s prestigious awards programs, shaping scoring criteria, advising on strategic direction, and ensuring transparency and fairness across all competition processes.
Travis Stanton Highlights Industry Excellence
Speaking on the announcement, Travis Stanton praised the depth of expertise represented on the board. He stated that the advisory panel reflects the very best of the industry—professionals who understand what exceptional experiential design looks like and who are committed to recognizing and elevating outstanding work on a global stage.
Three New Advisors Join the Board
The 2026/2027 advisory board welcomes three first-time members who bring fresh creative and strategic insights to TEDA’s leadership ecosystem. These include Patrick Snee, Phoebe Mathius, and Rita Meno Price. Their inclusion highlights TEDA’s focus on embracing innovation and evolving industry practices.
Advisory Role Goes Beyond Awards Judging
Board members are not only responsible for evaluating award submissions but also serve as ambassadors for TEDA’s larger mission. They help raise awareness about scholarship programs, internship stipends, travel grants, and recognition opportunities designed to support emerging experiential designers entering the global marketplace.
Diverse Representation Across the Industry
The advisory board features influential leaders from organizations such as Taylor Corp., Hamilton, BlueHive Exhibits, Moss, Classic Exhibits, Smithsonian National Museum of American History, and Fashion Institute of Technology, among many others. This broad representation ensures a balanced perspective across design, production, education, and strategic event marketing.
Signature Competitions Under Their Guidance
The board will help oversee TEDA’s three major competition programs. The BOSS Awards recognize outstanding experiential environments at major events, The ExSys Awards celebrate excellence in system-based experiential design, and The World Expolympics honor the finest exhibit and expo work showcased at world expos globally.
Expanding TEDA’s Global Reach
Alongside the U.S. Advisory Board, TEDA also maintains an International Advisory Board made up of leading experiential designers, marketers, and architects from more than a dozen countries. The organization has confirmed that the 2026/2027 International Advisory Board will be announced later this month.
Supporting the Future of Experiential Design
Founded by Travis Stanton, TEDA is committed to offering affordable, unbiased, and transparent recognition opportunities. The organization refuses paid sponsorships and advertising partnerships to preserve integrity, while keeping entry fees lower than comparable programs. Proceeds are directed toward scholarships, student competitions, and internship support, ensuring long-term growth and sustainability for the next generation of experiential design professionals.
