The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 officially opened in Greater Noida with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating the mega event. The exhibition, designed to showcase the industrial, cultural, and economic potential of Uttar Pradesh, brought together global investors, business leaders, and entrepreneurs.
PM Modi emphasized the importance of the trade show as a platform for boosting exports, strengthening MSMEs, and attracting international collaborations. The event highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s rapid industrial growth, infrastructure advancements, and favorable investment policies.
The five-day trade show featured diverse sectors including textiles, handicrafts, electronics, renewable energy, agriculture, and tourism. A special focus was given to showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s ODOP (One District One Product) initiative, aiming to promote traditional crafts and regional specialties at a global level.
Industry leaders hailed the exhibition as a game-changer in India’s trade and commerce landscape. With participation from multiple countries, the trade show opened new doors for partnerships, technology transfers, and global market expansion.
The event also included knowledge sessions, investor summits, and product demonstrations. The government reiterated its vision to transform Uttar Pradesh into a trillion-dollar economy, and exhibitions like these are a key driver toward that goal.
In his address, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the government’s focus on innovation, integration, and internationalization as core objectives of the trade show. He reiterated India’s commitment to becoming self-reliant, stating, “Every product that can be made in India should be made in India.” The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of reforms in simplifying processes for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), aiming to reduce tax disputes and accelerate refunds.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed pride in the event’s scale, noting that UPITS serves as a significant platform to showcase the state’s potential to the nation and the world.
