Porsche’s immersive destination for car culture, art and design in Thailand, Curvistan Bangkok, is charging full speed ahead into the future with its latest exhibition: “Electrifying Past. Present. Future.” Opening 20 March and running through 18 August 2025, this new showcase celebrates the brand’s trailblazing journey in electromobility, from its earliest innovations to its cutting-edge electric performance machines of today.

Since its debut in August 2024, Curvistan Bangkok has quickly become a magnet for enthusiasts of Porsche, design, and all things automotive. The new theme continues that momentum, offering visitors a rare opportunity to dive deep into Porsche’s electrification story—and perhaps even get behind the wheel of the future.

Porsche’s electric ambitions didn’t start with the Taycan. In fact, they date all the way back to 1900. Visitors will discover how Ferdinand Porsche stunned the world at the Paris Exposition with his “Lohner-Porsche System,” the first electric vehicle to feature wheel hub-mounted motors. It was a revolutionary idea, decades ahead of its time. More than a century later, that same pioneering spirit lives on. Curvistan Bangkok now plays host to a lineup of Porsche’s most iconic electrified vehicles, including the 918 Spyder hybrid hypercar—a seamless blend of motorsport prowess and forward-thinking sustainability.

At the heart of the exhibit is a true motorsport legend: the Porsche 919 Hybrid. A three-time Le Mans champion (2015–2017), this formidable machine doesn’t just represent Porsche’s racing dominance; it also helped transfer breakthrough technology like 800-volt architecture into road cars such as the Taycan. In its untamed 919 Evo form, the car set a still-unbroken Nürburgring Nordschleife lap record of 5:19.55 with driver Timo Bernhard behind the wheel.

Porsche isn’t just showcasing history—it’s inviting visitors to drive the future. Running alongside the exhibition is the Porsche BEV Experience, where guests can book a test drive in Porsche’s latest all-electric lineup. Whether it’s the new Taycan or the just-launched all-electric Macan SUV, this is a chance to feel the thrill of Porsche performance in its most innovative form yet.

Curvistan Bangkok is located at Sukhumvit 38, next to BTS Thong Lor Station, and is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The “Electrifying Past. Present. Future.” exhibition opens 20 March 2025 and runs through 18 August—a must-visit for car lovers, design aficionados, and anyone curious about Porsche’s electric tomorrow.
