The India ITME Society has announced the launch of Textile Horizons 2026, a two-day international conference scheduled for December 5–6, 2026, at India Exposition Mart Limited. The conference will take place alongside India ITME 2026, one of the country’s leading textile machinery exhibitions, which will run from December 4–9, 2026. Fibre2Fashion has been appointed as the Knowledge Partner for this initiative.
Positioned as a high-value knowledge platform within the larger exhibition ecosystem, Textile Horizons 2026 is designed to complement the business-driven exhibition floor by focusing on the strategic, technological, and sustainability aspects shaping the textile industry. While India ITME 2026 will highlight machinery, innovation, and business opportunities, the conference will offer a dedicated space for discussions, insights, and industry collaboration.
The announcement comes at a time when India’s textile sector is experiencing rapid transformation. Strong policy support, increasing investments, and evolving global sustainability standards are driving this shift. Government initiatives such as the PM MITRA Scheme and the Production Linked Incentive Scheme are accelerating integrated manufacturing and strengthening the man-made fibre segment. At the same time, stricter sustainability practices, including zero liquid discharge (ZLD) compliance and global sourcing benchmarks, are redefining operational standards.
The conference will be structured around two key themes: Technology & Efficiency and Sustainability & Circular Economy. Sessions will cover areas such as smart manufacturing, AI and IoT integration, automation and robotics in textile production, energy efficiency, circular design, low-impact processing, and regulatory compliance. The program will include keynote sessions, panel discussions, technology showcases, and case studies.
According to Dr. Seema Srivastava, the conference aims to enhance the overall value of India ITME by encouraging knowledge exchange and supporting industry modernisation. The event is expected to attract a diverse mix of participants, including manufacturers, technology providers, fibre and yarn producers, brands, policymakers, sustainability experts, and investors.
With participation from global leaders, innovators, and decision-makers, Textile Horizons 2026 will also align with key programmes at India ITME, including CEO interactions, technical recognitions, networking sessions, and B2B meetings. Entry to the conference will be complimentary with visitor registration, and sponsorship opportunities are currently open—making it a significant platform for shaping the future of the textile industry.
