According to North Yorkshire Council, last year’s series of concerts generated approximately £8.8 million for the local economy.
The council expects even greater benefits in 2026, with 10 additional concerts added to the schedule. This year’s lineup includes internationally renowned performers such as Alanis Morissette, Michael Bublé and Teddy Swims.
Officials predict the expanded concert season could deliver an economic uplift of approximately £15 million for Scarborough and the wider Yorkshire coast.
